Rescue Rabbit Rocket v1.0

It's been a while since I've done any orginal Lego builds (aka MOCs) and I randomly had the idea of making a rocket in the shape of a rabbit. I decided for the long weekend I would play/build some Lego. And did! Here is my Rescue Rabbit Rocket v1.0
I guess it mostly looks like a rabbit.

Though maybe it could pass for a mouse or kangaroo or something?
And since it's me here it is in 3D!!!
Side view. Can you see the thrusters on the bottom of it's feet?

Just look at that bushy tail.

 Posing for the camera.

Here you can see our fearless Rescue Rabbit Rocket Pilot ready to go do some rescuing or something.

This is a bit of an embarrassing pose but you can see the rabbits rocket feet better this way.

After that last picture Rescue Rabbit Rocket is feeling a bit embarrassed and sad. Poor little guy.

I was on a Thanksgiving Lego building bender and built all the rocket sets you see here. Sponge Bob rocket, Space Shuttle, Rescue Rabbit Rocket and a newer Lego mini fig rocket. It's my Lego space port. The sets had been collecting dust in a pile (some for almost a year) while I tried to find time to build them. Finally! Now to take them apart and build some new stuff!

And my Lego Space Port in 3D!!!

Dark and Stormy Birthday build

It's my birthday. One of my sisters got me a lego lighthouse and ginger beer for making a cocktail known as the Dark & Stormy. I think this is all an Outer Banks of NC related theme as they have some great light houses and the Dark & Stormy has become our OBX family vacation cocktail of choice. My other sister got me new wool socks in red and blue as I pretty much only wear socks that are not of the same color at one time and am a huge stereo 3d nerd. This is probably pretty clear from the video.

Any way as luck would have it on my birthday hurricane Irene hit the east cost, my lego giving sister's family evacuated as they live 10-20min from the coast in NC. The hurricane was also supposed to be headed to Maryland where my other sister lives. In honor of all the fun and my birthday I made a Dark & Stormy, built my lego light house, wore my new 3d socks and filmed it all in 3d time lapse!

Micro Ship One

I think this is one of my first SNOT creations made a few years ago. I had been reading lego blogs for a while and seeing lots of great lego creations made this way and lots of micro builds and lots of cool micro space ships so I gave it a go. Dug this out when I found the "FISH" build.

Fish

Have to start with something. I made this a few years ago and just found it when getting started on a new lego project. And since I love 3d...

Here it is in 3d.
