Saturn 5 in 3 scales

Have had the Saturn 5 around since last year and have been on a small building spree the last week or so. Realized I had the parts to make a small scale version. Here is a reference photo. My versions are not perfect but I'm happy enough -:]

Here is the Mini version.
Part way through the build I also realized I could do one even smaller.
With a Lego Space Mini Fig (mostly) from the late 70s / early 80s (original helmet design).
With the larger, but still not mini fig scale, Lego Saturn 5 in the background.
How about with it in the foreground.
And all three in frame.
And of last but not least some 3d pics.

Anthropomorphic Furniture

As a friend said, "That's a nice looking chair but I wouldn't want to sit on it."

Had to make a friend for the little guy.

And here they are with a little end table.

And in 3D -:]

Orangutan's Banana Tree to Jangler Fish

This is why I love Lego.I got "Orangutan's Banana Tree" for Christmas, built it and had it sitting on the shelf since Dec.

Yesterday I decided I needed to see what I could make using just that set and here is what I came up with.
I call it the "Jangler Fish" kind of short for Jungle Angler Fish. I amazed my self with the SNOT I managed to get in there. Lucky for me there were two SNOT pieces that let me turn the ground plates into mirrored body sides and also attach the top and bottom mouth/teeth/palm leaves to make the mouth. It's a bit hard to see but I also managed to use a spare vine that was with the set to make a tongue that is solidly attached and you can press from the back to make it go in and out. All in all I was really happy with my silly little build just using the sets pieces.

Rescue Rabbit Rocket v1.0

It's been a while since I've done any orginal Lego builds (aka MOCs) and I randomly had the idea of making a rocket in the shape of a rabbit. I decided for the long weekend I would play/build some Lego. And did! Here is my Rescue Rabbit Rocket v1.0
I guess it mostly looks like a rabbit.

Though maybe it could pass for a mouse or kangaroo or something?
And since it's me here it is in 3D!!!
Side view. Can you see the thrusters on the bottom of it's feet?

Just look at that bushy tail.

 Posing for the camera.

Here you can see our fearless Rescue Rabbit Rocket Pilot ready to go do some rescuing or something.

This is a bit of an embarrassing pose but you can see the rabbits rocket feet better this way.

After that last picture Rescue Rabbit Rocket is feeling a bit embarrassed and sad. Poor little guy.

I was on a Thanksgiving Lego building bender and built all the rocket sets you see here. Sponge Bob rocket, Space Shuttle, Rescue Rabbit Rocket and a newer Lego mini fig rocket. It's my Lego space port. The sets had been collecting dust in a pile (some for almost a year) while I tried to find time to build them. Finally! Now to take them apart and build some new stuff!

And my Lego Space Port in 3D!!!

Pills

I saw a lego pill somewhere and wanted to try making one. Pretty easy. Here we have one that looks like the diet pills I remember seeing as a kid (red and white) and a suicide pill.

Micro Rockets

A while back I was on a micro rocket building kick. Here are some of the results.

 Blast off!

 Launch failure.

One rocket looks like it's going to make it.

This is not where you would want to be standing in a moment.

Here is a pile of experiments in micro rockets.
